Marta Hristea makes her debut as a pop artist in 1994. After touring with stars of the pop music scene, Marta meets pianist Mircea Tiberian and begins a new career in jazz singing. Her first album, Villacoss Passage, 1998, is a reference title in Romanian vocal jazz and was awarded by the Union of Romanian composers and musicologists. Marta performed with musicians Johnny Raducanu, Cristian Soleanu, Electric Brother, Vlaicu Golcea, Sorin Romanescu, Maurice de Martin, Adam Pieronczyck and John Betsch in bands Interzone, Aievea and East Village in most European countries. Marta graduated the Rotterdam Conservatory in 2009 and is presently living in UK.
