ȘTEFAN MANASIA (b. 1977, Piteşti, Romania) is a poet and editor of the cultural magazine Tribuna. In 2008, he founded the reading series Nepotu’ lui Thoreau (Thoreau`s nephew) together with Szantai Janos and Francois Breda. He has published six poetry volumes: Amazon și alte poeme (Amazon and other poems, 2003), cartea micilor invazii (the book of small invasions, 2008, awarded the Manuscriptum prize from the National Museum of Romanian Literature), motocicleta de lemn (the wooden motorcycle, 2011, awarded the Young Poet of the Year prize), Bonobo sau cucerirea spațiului (Bonobo or the conquering of space, 2013), Cerul senin (The Clear Sky, 2015, awarded the prize of the Romanian literary journal Observator cultural) and Gustul cireşelor (Taste of Cherry, 2017). He lives in Cluj.
